My handmade pottery mugs are made in limited edition collections and small batches. I use stoneware clay and throw them on the pottery wheel. They are then trimmed to include a foot, and handles are pulled and attached.  Following the bisque firing, each mug is hand-glazed using several different colours to create the effect and design I want to achieve. These are fired to 1220 – 1260º celsius. I design mugs that sit beautifully in the hand and are comfortable to use and enjoy. The addition of the foot is not only for aesthetics and comfort but also to stack the mugs for storage.
